Pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00/5:30 PM

Licensed Practical Nurse – Temp to Hire

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a busy, multi-location medical practice serving patients in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, VA.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and the potential to transition into a permanent position.

The LPN must be comfortable rotating between both practice locations, which are approximately 15 minutes apart.

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Virginia LPN license required
• Minimum 2 years of LPN experience
• OB/GYN experience strongly preferred OR experience working in a multidisciplinary clinic setting
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment
• Willing and able to rotate between the Norfolk and Virginia Beach locations
• Dependable, professional, and patient-focused

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for examinations
• Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories
• Assist providers with examinations and clinical procedures
• Coordinate patient flow throughout the practice
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient follow-up
• Accurately document patient information within the EMR system
• Complete required clinical documentation, reports, and notes
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
• Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining medical supplies
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff
• Support physicians and the clinical team with day-to-day practice operations

Compensation

$20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
