OUTPATIENT NURSING POSITION (Medical Assistant) DEDICATED CARE CENTER- INTERNAL MEDICINE-CONCIERGE PRACTICE-NORFOLK, VA
As a Medical Assistant with the Dedicated Care Center (DCC), you play a vital role in delivering a concierge-level patient experience while working directly alongside our physicians in a collaborative, team-focused environment. You will serve as both a clinical partner and a patient ambassador, building trusted relationships with patients, physicians, and coworkers through exceptional service and attention to detail.
In this role, you are often the first clinical point of contact for our concierge patients and help set the tone for a personalized, high-touch experience. You will room patients, obtain and document vital signs, verify patient information, and prepare patients for their visits, while also supporting clerical and care coordination needs that ensure smooth, efficient clinic workflows.
Beyond traditional clinical duties, you will contribute to superior patient-provider relationships by assisting with care coordination, supporting referrals, authorizations, and follow-up needs, and helping patients navigate health-related expectations. Your ability to communicate clearly, multitask, and anticipate patient needs is key to exceeding expectations in a concierge setting.
You will continuously work to improve quality, efficiency, and service across the practice, while maintaining a strong focus on patient satisfaction, retention, and continuity of care. Teamwork is exceptional at the DCC, with everyone working together to deliver personalized, high-quality care and an outstanding patient experience every day.
This role is ideal for an LPN or Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced yet patient-centered environment, values relationship-based care, and wants to be part of a unique concierge practice that prioritizes time, access, and excellence.
