PROLIM (www.prolim.com) is currently seeking Certified Medical Assistant – PulmonaryFunction Testing (PFT) for one of our top clients in Newport News, VA
Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and team-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to support multiple clinic areas. The candidate will assist healthcare providers with clinical documentation, maintain accurate medical records and packets, and perform routine clinical testing and patient care activities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Cross-train and provide support across multiple clinic areas.
· Assist providers with clinical documentation and maintain accurate medical packets.
· Perform Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT).
· Obtain and record patient vital signs.
· Perform vision and hearing screenings.
· Assist with laboratory procedures and phlebotomy.
· Support daily clinic operations and ensure accurate patient information.
Required Qualifications/Special Requirements:
· Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
· PFT training and hands-on experience.
· Previous laboratory and phlebotomy experience.
· Experience performing vital signs, vision, and hearing tests.
· High school diploma or equivalent, with 4 years of additional education and/or experience.
