    Job Description Summary

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

    Pay Range: $23–$25/hr (based on experience)

    Experience Required: 3–5 years as a Medical Assistant

    Certification Required: CMA, RMA, or CCMA

    Preferred Background: Primary Care or Urgent Care

    About the Role
    We’re looking for an experienced Medical Assistant II (CMA/RMA/CCMA) to join our Same‑Day Access Clinic in Naples. In this role, you’ll support providers, deliver high‑quality clinical care, and help ensure smooth patient flow in a fast‑paced primary care environment. This position is ideal for an MA with strong primary care experience, confidence in labs and injections, and a team‑player mindset.

    Medical Assistant II (Certified/Registered)

    Location: 400 8th St N, Naples, FL 34102

    A Day in the Life

    • Conduct comprehensive patient intakes: vitals, medical histories, medications, allergies

    • Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and splinting

    • Perform EKGs, immunizations, injections, specimen collection, and point‑of‑care testing

    • Prepare, label, and process lab samples

    • Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and equipment calibration

    • Support triage, care coordination, and transitions across clinical settings

    • Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care

    • Document clinical data and provider instructions in the EHR

    • Schedule appointments, manage referrals, authorizations, and test results

    • Verify insurance and assist with prior authorizations and patient registration

    • Maintain inventory and prepare exam/procedure rooms

    • Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, audits, and safety drills

    • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and interdisciplinary teams

    • Uphold HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and compliance standards

    • Provide compassionate, culturally competent care to diverse patient populations

    • Demonstrate excellent guest service and teamwork

    • Perform other duties as assigned

    What You Bring

    • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA)-Required

    • 2–5 years of MA experience in a healthcare setting

    • Primary Care experience required; Urgent Care preferred

    • Graduate of an accredited MA program

    • BLS certification required

    • Skilled in vitals, EKGs, injections, specimen collection, and clinical room setup

    • Knowledge of infection control, universal precautions, and sterile technique

    • Familiarity with EHR systems and accurate documentation

    • Strong medical terminology and scheduling skills

    • Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities

    • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑volume clinic

    • Reliable attendance and commitment to exceptional patient care

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
