Job Description Summary
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

A Day in the Life
Conduct comprehensive patient intakes: vitals, medical histories, medications, allergies
Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and splinting
Perform EKGs, immunizations, injections, specimen collection, and point‑of‑care testing
Prepare, label, and process lab samples
Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and equipment calibration
Support triage, care coordination, and transitions across clinical settings
Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
Document clinical data and provider instructions in the EHR
Schedule appointments, manage referrals, authorizations, and test results
Verify insurance and assist with prior authorizations and patient registration
Maintain inventory and prepare exam/procedure rooms
Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, audits, and safety drills
Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and interdisciplinary teams
Uphold HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and compliance standards
Provide compassionate, culturally competent care to diverse patient populations
Demonstrate excellent guest service and teamwork
Perform other duties as assigned
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA)-Required
2–5 years of MA experience in a healthcare setting
Primary Care experience required; Urgent Care preferred
Graduate of an accredited MA program
BLS certification required
Skilled in vitals, EKGs, injections, specimen collection, and clinical room setup
Knowledge of infection control, universal precautions, and sterile technique
Familiarity with EHR systems and accurate documentation
Strong medical terminology and scheduling skills
Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑volume clinic
Reliable attendance and commitment to exceptional patient care
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

$20.00to

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting.
