Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a temp-to-perm opportunity. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment, have strong patient-care and organizational skills, and be proficient with Epic.

Schedule

40 hours per week

• Four 9-hour shifts: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• One 4-hour shift: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain/document vital signs and medical histories

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures

• Assist providers with patient care, examinations, and minor procedures

• Accurately document patient information and clinical encounters in Epic

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records

• Perform routine clinical and administrative Medical Assistant duties

• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and clinical supplies

• Coordinate patient flow to support efficient clinic operations

• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other members of the healthcare team

• Follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control procedures

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential

• Epic experience required

• Phlebotomy experience preferred

• Previous experience working in a clinical or ambulatory care setting preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and patient-service skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
