Certified Medical Assistant

We are hiring for a Certified Medical Assistant position in Michigan. The role requires 1–2 weeks of initial onsite training, followed by a fully remote work arrangement. We are looking for Michigan-based candidates with a valid Medical Assistant certification and BLS certification.

• Assist patients with appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and care coordination over the phone.
• Review and update patient medical records using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Respond to patient inquiries through phone calls, emails, and electronic communication.
• Coordinate prescription refill requests and communicate with healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient messages and route clinical concerns to the appropriate medical staff.
• Assist with insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorization processes.
• Provide patient education and basic clinical support through virtual communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient care.
