We are seeking a qualified Certified Medical Assistant for a contract opportunity with an exceptional Primary Care / Occupational Healthcare company in Louisville, KY.
· Start date: ASAP
· Contract Length: 6 to 13 weeks
· Pay rate range: $25 - $27 an hour
· Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 am 4:30 pm
· Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision / Weekly Pay
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· CMA need for a busy primary care, occupational health and Rehab clinic.
· Assure compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations.
· Perform lab draws, immunizations, vital signs, prior auths, rooming patients, front desk duties, medication administration and allergy injections.
· Documentation in Epic EMR.
Requirements:
· 3 years of CMA experience required and at least 1 year of primary care experience desired
· Must have strong customer service skills
· Must have experience with front and back office. Experience performing front office duties, prior auths, venipuncture, ECGs, EKGS and immunizations required
· Must have experience with Epic EMR
· CMA and BLS certification required
