Certified Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring Certified Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Lake Worth, FL 33460. It’s a 3 months Temp to hire contract.

Duties

• Perform blood draws, venipuncture, fingersticks, and urine specimen collection.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs.
• Prepare patients, examination rooms, and charts for provider visits.
• Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures and daily patient care.
• Verify insurance information and complete authorization forms.
• Schedule appointments and conduct follow-up calls.
• Perform telephone triage and assist with patient inquiries.
• Label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow infection control protocols.
• Manage medical supplies, including ordering, stocking, and organizing inventory.
• Provide front-office customer service and back-office clinical support.

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Active CMA or certification. One accepted certification: CMAC, CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA.
• Hands-on phlebotomy experience is required.
• BLS Certification is required

Job Details: 
Location: Lake Worth, FL 33460
Contract Length: 3 months with conversion to FTE  
Shift schedule: Monday–Friday, with rotating extended hours
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Range: $18-$21/hour
