Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to join a fast-paced specialty practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up care
• Obtain prior authorizations and pre-certifications for procedures, including CT scans and MRIs
• Communicate test results and treatment information to patients
• Perform phlebotomy and other clinical duties as needed
• Accurately document patient information in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Take and record manual blood pressure readings
• Support both front office and back office operations
• Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care

Qualifications

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of medical assisting experience
• Strong understanding of clinical and administrative workflows
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and appointment scheduling
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care
• Ability to provide clear instructions, manage physician orders, and prioritize patient needs

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Knoxville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
