Currently we are searching for a Certified Medical Assistant for a contract role with an exceptional occupational healthcare organization based out of Kansas City, MO.
· Contract length: 13 weeks
· Start date: ASAP
· Schedule: Monday through Friday 7 am 3:30 pm
· Pay Rate Range: $24 -$26 an hour
· Benefits: Weekly Pay / Medical / Dental / Vision
JOB DESCCRIPTION:
· Primary Care location with Provider Dispensing. MA to support patients ages 2 years and up,
· Responsible for rooming Patients, phlebotomy, vitals, EKGs, injections, and processing specimens along with centrifuge processing etc.
· Additional job duties include:
· Immunizations and vaccine schedules
· Point of Care testing
· Emergency response & anaphylaxis management
· Additional administrative duties
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:
· 3 years of medical assisting experience in a primary care or urgent care environment required.
· Must have experience with phlebotomy, EKGs, POC testing and emergency response.
· CMA Certification and BLS Certification is required.
· Primary Care experience desired.
· Must have experience with Epic EMR.
· Must have strong customer service skills.
