Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) | Green Bay, WI
TEEMA is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to support the healthcare team at a correctional facility in Green Bay.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain vital signs, report abnormal findings and document care in the electronic health record.
- Room patients, coordinate patient flow and assist providers with exams and minor procedures.
- Administer vaccines and IM/SubQ medications as directed.
- Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
- Complete ordered procedures including EKGs, dressing changes, basic wound care, ear lavages and peak flow testing.
- Prepare exam rooms and instruments and follow infection-control practices.
Requirements:
- Current Medical Assistant certification through national organization.
- Hands-on clinical experience with the duties listed above.
- Strong EHR documentation, communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable providing patient care in a correctional setting.
