Description

Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Fort Worth, TX 76177.

Job Details:

Schedule: 7:30am- 5:00pm

Location: Fort Worth, TX 76177

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 3+ months (Possibility of extension or conversion )

Pay Range: $21/hr to $23.40/hr*

  • Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

  • Perform clinical duties within the scope of Medical Assistant practice, including venipuncture, specimen collection, EKGs, wound care, medication administration, and operation of diagnostic equipment.
  • Prepare, sterilize, and maintain medical equipment and exam/treatment rooms while following infection control and safety protocols.
  • Room patients, prepare them for examinations, and accurately document patient care and clinical information in medical records.
  • Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, follow company policies and Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO), and conduct non-clinical patient intake and information gathering.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courteous, respectful service while supporting overall clinic operations and performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Certification(s): nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification
  • Years of experience: 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Skills/Specialties/Technology: Knowledge of medical terminology ICD-10 and CPT coding
