    ‎ 

    Certified Medical Assistant – Full Time (Vera Whole Health)

    Location: 2570 Blackmon Drive, Suite 400, Decatur, GA 30033

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (occasional Saturdays)

    Pay: ~$29/hr

    Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, 13 paid holidays

    Certification: MA‑C required

    Experience: Minimum 2 years (primary/urgent care preferred)


    About the Role
    Vera Whole Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support our primary care clinic. You’ll work closely with providers, assist with clinical procedures, manage patient flow, and help deliver excellent patient care.

    How will you make an impact & Requirements

    ‎ 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Take vital signs, perform point‑of‑care testing, and assist with diagnostic procedures

    • Administer immunizations, injections, and oral medications

    • Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and process lab specimens

    • Support patient education and care‑management needs

    • Set up exam/procedure rooms using sterile technique

    • Assist with front‑office tasks (phones, scheduling, registration)

    • Maintain inventory and restock supplies

    • Document accurately in the EMR and follow HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA standards

    • Participate in team huddles, training, and quality‑improvement activities

    • Provide excellent customer service and teamwork

    Required Qualifications

    • Certified Medical Assistant (MA‑C)

    • Graduate of an accredited MA program

    • Minimum 2 years of experience (primary/urgent care preferred)

    • Phlebotomy certification within 90 days (if required)

    • Strong phlebotomy, injection, and EKG skills

    • EMR documentation experience

    • CPR/BLS certification and negative TB test within 90 days

    • Reliable attendance, strong communication, and ability to multitask

    $23.00

    to

    $34.50

     

    The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting.
