Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Certified Medical Assistant, you will be a vital member of our clinical support team, working directly under the supervision of healthcare providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will play a key role in the success of our facility by ensuring the well-being and safety of all patients while maintaining a clean, professional, and efficient clinical environment. By bridging the gap between patient intake and provider examination, you will help optimize clinic workflows and contribute to a seamless healthcare experience for our community.
Every day you will manage essential patient care tasks, including greeting and preparing patients, recording vital signs, reviewing medication history, and documenting the reason for their visit. Your daily responsibilities will involve collecting and preparing laboratory specimens, administering ordered medications or vaccines, and ensuring that all exam rooms are fully stocked and sanitized. You will also be responsible for maintaining rigorous safety checklists, performing quality control measures, and escalating any patient concerns to the appropriate clinical staff in a timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you will be a graduate of an accredited medical assisting program and hold a current national certification (such as CCMA, CMA, RMA, or NCMA) along with a valid BLS-CPR certification. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong computer literacy, excellent mathematical skills, and the ability to navigate clinical documentation systems with ease. You must demonstrate exceptional communication skills, the ability to resolve complex problems, and a commitment to upholding the highest ethical and regulatory standards in a fast-paced medical practice.
We are offering up to $4,800 as a Sign-on Bonus as well as up to $8,000 in Educational Assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
