Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Doylestown, PA

Location:  Doylestown, PA 18901
Contract Length: 8 weeks, with extensions available up to 520 hours for Temp-to-Hire conversion
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Interview: Microsoft Teams

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Medical Assistant (MA) to support a busy Penn Medicine practice in Doylestown. The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of Medical Assistant experience, strong multitasking and organizational skills, and preferably EPIC experience.

This is a Temp-to-Hire position. Candidates must be interested and willing to convert to a permanent Penn Medicine staff position.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
  • Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories.
  • Assist physicians with procedures and diagnostic testing.
  • Collect and process patient specimens.
  • Perform EKGs and injections as required.
  • Assist with patient mobility and transportation.
  • Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and medical supplies.
  • Follow sterilization, infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
  • Support efficient patient flow and provide excellent patient/family service.
  • Assist with pre-certifications as needed.
  • Train new staff or interns when assigned.
  • Participate in workflow improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 18+ months of Medical Assistant experience required.
  • EPIC experience highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Dependable, motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Must be interested in Temp-to-Hire conversion.

Education Note: Penn Medicine will not accept education from Stepful.
