Our established Concierge Internal Medicine Practice in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced, professional, and patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Internal Medicine practice.

 Qualifications


Required:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Internal Medicine practice
• Excellent phlebotomy skills
• Exceptional teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and Electronic Health Records (EHR) - AthenaHealth is a plus!
• Ability to multitask and independently manage daily responsibilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred:

• Experience with AthenaHealth EHR

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Venipuncture
• Performing EKGs
• Administering vaccines and injections
• Recording patient vital signs
• Scanning and uploading documents into the EHR system
• Managing incoming patient messages
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Assisting with patient flow and clinical operations
• Performing miscellaneous front-office and back-office duties as needed
