Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Twin Cities Clinics

About the opportunity

SerKy Consulting is hiring 12 Certified Medical Assistants for busy outpatient clinics across the Minneapolis–St. Paul area. You'll work side by side with providers caring for patients of all ages, with a mix of clinical and front-desk work every day. What you'll do

• Keep patients moving smoothly through the clinic
• Room patients and assist providers with exams and treatment for all ages
• Give immunizations and injections, and collect lab specimens
• Perform phlebotomy and in-clinic lab tests
• Perform x-ray duties (if certified)
• Answer patient calls and relay messages between patients and providers
• Help with prescription refills and prior authorizations
• Support front desk check-in, and order and stock supplies
• Work with the Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager, and providers to meet clinic goals
• Keep the care team updated on progress, concerns, and questions

Assignment details

• Openings: 12 positions available
• Pay: $22.23 per hour
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week; various shifts
• Locations: Minnetonka, St. Anthony, Golden Valley, New Hope, Fridley, and Blaine, MN — pick the clinic closest to home
• Setting: On-site, clinic-based

Requirements

What you need

• High school diploma or GED
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
