Immediate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) contract opportunity at our Corporate Health in New Orleans, LA.
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr
Work Schedule:
8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)
40 hours per week
Contract Details:
Contract assignment through 12/28/2026 (possible extension)
Job Details:
Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts
Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination
Inventories medical supplies and materials, notification to team when supplies run low
Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests
Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
Phlebotomy experience required
Epic experience preferred
Occupational Health, Emergency Room or Urgent Care experience preferred
Current hands on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
