Our compensation package includes a competitive salary and a full benefits package.Position SummaryCornerstone Dermatology & Surgery Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our busy dermatology practice. The ideal candidate will have prior dermatology experience, with Mohs micrographic surgery experience preferred, and a strong commitment to excellent patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional patient care and serviceRoom patients, obtain and document histories, chief complaints, and vital signs.Assist providers with general dermatology exams and procedures (biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, etc.).Assist Mohs surgeon with pre-op setup, intra-op patient flow, and post-op care (Mohs experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate).Prepare, stock, and turn over exam and procedure rooms, ensuring a clean and safe environment.Perform clinical tasks such as suture removal and wound care per provider orders.Handle specimen labeling and preparation according to practice protocols.Provide patient education on wound care, procedures, and treatment plans.Document accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR).Support front office/phone triage as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Current Certified/Registered Medical Assistant credential (e.g., CMA, RMA, CCMA) required.Minimum 1 year of medical assisting experience in a clinical setting; dermatology experience strongly preferred.Mohs surgery assisting experience preferred but not required.Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.ScheduleMonday–Thursday: 7:30 am – 4:30 pmFriday: 7:30 am – 3:30 pmBenefitsPaid time off.Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits after 30 days of employment.401(k) and 401(k) matching offered after one year of employment.Quarterly attendance bonus.Employee discount.
