Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Job Details: Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts. Current hands-on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.

Immediate Certified Medical Assistant contract opportunity at our Corporate Health Clinic in Louisville, KY.

Pay Rate: $23.00/hr

Work Schedule:

• 8:00am to 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Contract Details:

• Assignment through 11/30/2026 (possible extension)

Job Details:

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts
• Assist with front desk and administrative duties as needed
• Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials
• Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant with prior occupational health or emergency/acute care experience a plus
• Experience with EPIC EMR is a plus
• Current hands-on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
