The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading
healthcare provider in Hamilton, TX to hire a Certified Medical Assistant to join
a patient-focused team and play a key role in delivering exceptional care in a
supportive clinical environment.
In this role, you'll support clinical procedures,
maintain medical records, coordinate patient-provider communication, and help
ensure high-quality patient care.
Schedule: Full-Time | Mon-Fri | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
What You’ll Do
- Record patient observations, responses
& provider orders in patient medical records
- Coordinate communication between
patients, families, and providers
- Escort patients and prepare them for
exams by obtaining vitals, weight, height, and health history
- Assist with surgical procedures,
administer medications, and perform blood and urine testing
- Process prescription refill requests and
support safe, efficient patient care operations
- Stock & maintain clean, organized
exam rooms; monitor inventory levels & conduct monthly stock checks
- Maintain medical supply, equipment, and
sample inventory; dispose of expired products appropriately
- Maintain patient confidentiality and
HIPAA compliance; follow organizational, infection control, and safety
protocols
- Collaborate effectively with patients,
providers, and staff
- Perform additional duties as assigned
with efficiency and accuracy
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification required
- CPR Certification required
- Previous medical assistant experience
preferred
- Ability to walk, sit, and stand for
extended periods & lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong communication, organizational
skills, professionalism, and attention to detail
