We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team working with the United States Coast Guard. Provide medical administrative support such as scheduling, billing, and coding (ICD coding).
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and basic life support procedures.
Support outpatient and inpatient care within various departments, including emergency medicine and geriatrics.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Certification as a Medical Assistant is required.
Experience in dermatology, internal medicine, or urgent care settings is preferred.
Familiarity with hospital environments, including Level I and Level II trauma centers.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support techniques.
Previous experience in clinic settings or specialized areas such as PICU or OR is advantageous.
