Currently we are searching for a Certified Medical Assistant for a contract role with an exceptional occupational / primary care healthcare organization based out of Bend, OR.
· Start date: ASAP
· Contract length: 7 to 13 weeks
· Local pay rate range: $28 to $33 an hour
· Travel pay: $1280 a week gross pay
· Schedule: Tuesdays 6:30am - 5pm, Wednesdays 6:30am - 5pm, Thursdays 7:30am - 6pm, Fridays 6:30am - 5pm, first Saturday of the month 8 am - 1 pm. after working the Saturday shift, the following Tuesday is 6:30 am - 11 am (40 hours a week with a 30 minute lunch break daily)

JOB DETAILS:
· Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts
· Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination
· Cleans and sterilizes instruments
· Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials
· Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
· Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests
· Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients
· Performs administrative tasks, completes appropriate client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provides assistance at front desk
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:
· Must have at least 3 years of CMA experience in a primary care or clinic environment.
· Seeking someone that has strong customer service, phlebotomy skills and thrives working in a busy environment
· Experience with front and back office duties.
· Must be proficient in Phlebotomy and using Epic.
· CMA Certification is required.
· BLS required.
