Baptist Heart Specialists is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for our Clay office located in Fleming Island, FL. 

This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.

The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting the provider.

Certified Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Provides medical assistance to physicians
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

• 3-5 years Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Required
