Currently we are searching for a Certified Medical Assistant for a contract role with an exceptional occupational health / primary care organization based out of Atlanta, GA.
· Start date: ASAP
· Schedule: DAYS - (40 hours a week) Monday through Thursday 7:30 am-4:30 pm
· Contract length: 4 weeks plus
· Pay rate range: $23 - $26 an hour
· Benefits: Weekly Pay / Medical / Dental / Vision
Job Description
· Primary Care location serving patients from newborn-adults.
· Duties include front desk (answer phones, greet teammates, check in/out, take payments), clinical support assisting the provider as needed with EKGs and private exams.
· An important part of this role is in the lab. We require a MA who enjoys phlebotomy and is proficient at it as well as POCT and processing/packaging lab work.
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:
· Must have at least 3 years of CMA experience in a primary care, urgent care, occupational health, or clinic environment.
· Experience with front and back office duties.
· Must be proficient in Phlebotomy and using Epic.
· CMA Certification is required.
· BLS required.
