We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Escort patients to exam rooms, perform vitals, review and update medication list
- Assisting with medical procedures, giving injections, calling patients with test results
- Knowledge of medication and ability to fill prescription
- Referrals
- Prior Authorization
- Medical Scribing for providers
- Front Desk duties, answer phones, make appointments
- Scribing for Providers
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience
- Bilingual Preferred
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi task
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Ability to scribe for physician
- Experience giving Injections, assisting with medical procedures and giving test results to patient
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
