Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a fast-paced cancer center in West Chester, PA. The ideal candidate will be energetic, adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a busy clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs and obtain vital signs.
• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.
• Update and maintain accurate patient charts.
• Answer patient messages and clinical phone lines.
• Assist with stress testing as needed.
• Support providers and the clinical team with daily patient care.
• Use EPIC EMR for documentation and patient-related tasks.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, teamwork, and patient service.

Requirements

• 18+ months of CMA experience required.
• EPIC experience required.
• CMA certification/credentials as applicable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Energetic, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Strong teamwork and ability to take initiative.
• Bilingual candidates preferred.
• Ability to remain active and on your feet throughout the workday; candidates should be comfortable walking approximately 15,000–20,000 steps per day.
• Must be interested in a Temp-to-Perm opportunity and willing to convert to a permanent position.

Training

• 5-hour EMR training prior to the start date.
• 15-minute HIPAA training module.
• 4-day scheduling training several weeks after the start date.
