Position Overview
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support physicians and clinicians in a clinical environment in Irving, TX. Under direct supervision, the Medical Assistant will assist with patient care, promote efficient patient flow, support examinations and procedures, and perform various clinical and administrative duties.

The ideal candidate will be professional, dependable, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Important: Active Medical Assistant certification is required for this position. Candidates must be able to provide proof of current certification.

Schedule & Compensation
Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–9:00 PM
$24–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
The clinic may occasionally finish before 9:00 PM. Although 9:00 PM is the scheduled end time, the actual end time may vary based on patient flow and clinic needs.
When the clinic finishes earlier than expected, the position will likely be paid through the scheduled 9:00 PM end time, subject to applicable company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities include:

Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms as appropriate.
Record patient information prior to each physician visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, medication changes, and other relevant information.
Assist physicians and clinicians with patient care, examinations, and procedures.
Answer patient telephone calls and appropriately direct calls or messages to the physician, nurse, or pharmacist.
Promote efficient patient flow and provide professional, compassionate patient support.
Perform administrative and clerical duties, including typing, filing, faxing, chart preparation, reception, and related tasks as requested by the supervisor or physician.
Assist with maintaining physician schedules and supporting overall clinic operations.
Answer phones and assist patients and staff with routine inquiries.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with patients, physicians, and clinical staff.
Support and adhere to the Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
