Certified Home Health Aide | Manalapan/Monroe/East Brunswick/Old Bridge

We are seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)to provide assistance in daily living (ADLs) and personal care services (PCS) in patients' homes in accordance with an established care plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients' residences/and or facilities
  
• Perform domestic and household tasks
  
• Accompany patients to doctor's office or to hospital
  
• Medication reminders
  
• Assist with clients’ personal care activities
  
• Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
  
• Maintain patients care records and document provided services
  
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
  
• Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
  
• Collect routine specimens
  
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
  

• Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification
  
• Valid driver's license
  
• Willingness to drive the client using the client's vehicle when required
  
• Proven working experience as Home Health Aide (Newly certified HHAs are encouraged to apply)
  
• Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens
  
• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
  
• Compassionate, dependable, professional, and caring personality
  
• Proficiency in English or bilingual
  

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification
  
• Valid driver's license
