About the Role:Assisting Hands of Hamilton is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our care team on a
weekend-only schedule in Hamilton, NJ. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients in your community while enjoying a flexible work schedule that fits your lifestyle.
Responsibilities:- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Monitor and document client health status, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding in accordance with dietary needs and care plans
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean home environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
- Administer medications or treatments as directed within scope of practice
Requirements:- Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
- Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting preferred
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday)
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Hamilton, NJ area
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to follow individualized care plans and work independently
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
