The Diabetes Dietitian Educator has experience in diabetes self-management training.
- The position will implement clinical and education programs.
- Be responsible for quality improvement.
- Research activities and be an expert resource for both patients and providers.
- The position may also be responsible for the ADA Recognized Program process and community support programs.
- team members in the position are required to get certified (CDCES - Diabetes) within two years of their hire date/transfer date.
Requirements:
- Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian License (RD) OR Registered Nurse (RN)
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 3 years of Registered Dietitian experience is required.
- Minimum of 1000 hours of professional practice experience in diabetes self-management training and has passed the Certification Examination for Diabetes Educators.
- CDCES certification
