Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for a Certified Culinary Cook position for a local company. This position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. You will be responsible for preparing meals, prepping food, and cooking based on set recipes on time. This position requires successful completion of a Level 2 background check, which includes fingerprinting and review of criminal history in accordance with state and federal law.

Job Description:

• Pay rate $19 per hour
• Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary requirements
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Monitor food inventory and report supply needs

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Speak, read, and comprehend in English
• Level 2 Background check is required for this role
• Recent and relevant work history in the last 6 months
