    HIRING- Certified Caregivers (HHA or CNA) for clients in multiple North Shore cities & towns.  Towns include: Lawrence, Haverhill, Salisbury, Merrimack, Boxford and surrounding areas!

    Senior Helpers caregivers provide one-on-one care to help our clients remain safe and independent in their home. We fit your area of expertise to the seniors you’ll care for.

    Job Requirements:

    • HHA or CNA Certification
    • 2+ years experience as a caregiver
    • Proof of pre-employment physical dated within 12 months
    • Proof of negative TB test dates withing past 12 months (chest x-ray valid 5 years) 
    • CPR certification
    • Drivers license & reliable vehicle
    • Proof of car insurance
    • Authorized to work in the United States 
    • English as a spoken & written language

    Schedule: Varies with flexibility. Shift options offered can be 2-4,6,8 or 12 hour increments. 

    Responsibilities

    • Perform routine activities of daily living (including bathing, dressing, using the bathroom, eating, drinking etc.)in patients' rooms or apartments
    • Observe and report changes in patients' physical condition and emotional condition such as increase or decrease in appetite, pain, vomiting etc.
    • Maintain accurate records and report any changes in patients condition or family members' changes in status to the RN
    • Assist with household chores and light housekeeping when needed
    • Comply with nursing protocols and procedures.
