About the Role:North Point Senior Homecare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregiver to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. Responsibilities:- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors in a home care setting
- Monitor and document client health status and report changes to supervisors
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management per care plan
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities as needed
Requirements:- Current Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a related caregiving environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Physically able to assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting clients
