About the Role:Sanatio Health Inc is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Biller/Coder to join our growing healthcare team in Oxford, AL. Responsibilities:- Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to patient records and medical documentation
- Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance carriers, Medicare, and Medicaid
- Review and resolve claim denials, rejections, and appeals in a timely manner
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to billing
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and payer-specific billing guidelines
- Conduct charge entry, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up
- Collaborate with clinical staff to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies
Requirements:- Active certification required: CPC, CCS, CCS-P, or equivalent credential from AAPC or AHIMA
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing and coding experience
- Proficient knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and medical billing software
- Strong understanding of insurance claim submission and denial management
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
