Description

Pay: $23–$26/hour
Schedule options: Monday–Friday, Monday/Wednesday/Friday, or Tuesday/Thursday
Settings: Clinic and clients’ homes
Training: Paid training and support toward national RBT certification

Help clients with disabilities build communication and daily living skills through one-to-one, individualized support. At Patterns Behavioral Services, you’ll work with a clinical team that values compassionate, person-centered care.

What you’ll do

  • Provide one-to-one behavioral services in clinic and home settings under clinical supervision.
  • Follow individualized treatment plans and record accurate progress data.
  • Support communication using tools such as AAC or PECS when included in a client’s plan.
  • Help clients practice daily living and self-care skills, which may include toileting and hygiene.
  • Respond to challenging behavior using the strategies in each client’s plan.
  • Communicate with families and team members and attend scheduled meetings and training.

What we’re looking for

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid Washington driver’s license and reliable transportation for assignments that require travel.
  • The ability to assist clients with the physical parts of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Availability for one of the schedules listed above.

A current Washington Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) credential is preferred for CBT assignments. Candidates with an RBT certification or ABA experience who do not yet hold a Washington CBT credential are also encouraged to apply; duties will depend on their qualifications and applicable credential requirements.

Experience as a paraeducator, teacher aide, direct support professional, or respite worker is welcome. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
