Certified Athletic Trainer - OrthofastIdeal candidate will be required to multi-task and provide excellent patient services as an Athletic Trainer for our practice. Responsibilities:Prepares the patient for exam, obtains history and proper imaging Assists with in-office procedures Splinting and casting application and removalCommunicates with MD and PA regarding patient care Obtains patient clinical information through our electronic medical record systemAccurately fits patients with Durable Medical EquipmentDraws injections, as directed by providersFacilitates outside services for patient (i.e., Physical Therapy, Radiology)Ensures that exam rooms are properly stocked and maintained Competencies:Must have current NATA certificationExcellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.Ability to maintain patient confidentiality is a mustAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the general public.
