    Description

    McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Certified Athletic Trainer for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

    Responsibilities include: Responsible for collaborating with physicians to optimize patient and client activity in athletic, work, life.  The practice of athletic training encompasses assisting the physician with the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergent, acute, subacute and chronic neuromusculoskeletal conditions.  Practice goal is to minimize subsequent impairments, functional limitations, disability and societal limitations. All of this is done in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Core Values and Promise. 

    Schedule: 

    Monday - Friday

    Education:

    Bachelors degree from an accredited professional athletic training education program

    Certification/License:

    State licensure from Board of Certification

    Experience:

    Previous experience preferred but not required

    Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
