BG Staffing is seeking a motivated and dependable Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Benbrook, TX 76109. This role is ideal for someone with strong make-ready experience who is ready to expand their maintenance skills, or a newer maintenance technician who is eager to learn and grow in the multifamily industry.
Position Details
- Role: Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician
- Location: Benbrook, TX 76109
- Pay: $23/hr
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Opportunity Type: Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities
- Complete apartment make-readies and unit turns to company standards
- Respond to and complete resident service requests and maintenance tickets
- Perform basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs
- Prepare vacant units for new residents through repairs, touch-ups, and inspections
- Assist with preventative maintenance projects and community upkeep
- Maintain accurate records of completed work orders
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents and staff
- Support the maintenance team with daily operations as needed
Requirements
- Maintenance certification preferred
- Strong make-ready experience required
- Experience completing service requests and maintenance tickets
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general maintenance
- Must be comfortable performing both make-ready and maintenance technician duties
- Strong work ethic and willingness to assist wherever needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, dependable, and professional
- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- A strong Make Ready Technician looking to transition into a maintenance role, or
- A newer Maintenance Technician who doesn't mind being hands-on with make-readies while gaining additional service experience
