What You'll Do

As a Commercial Chiller Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, maintain, and optimize centrifugal chillers and other large commercial HVAC systems throughout the DFW area.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair centrifugal chillers and large-tonnage HVAC equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reliability
• Complete start-ups, commissioning, inspections, and operational testing
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls-related issues
• Analyze system performance and recommend corrective actions
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
• Complete accurate digital service reports and documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment conditions and repair recommendations
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience
• Proven experience servicing centrifugal chillers or other large-tonnage commercial HVAC equipment
• Experience with manufacturers such as York, Trane, Carrier, Daikin, or similar platforms
• EPA 608 Universal Certification
• Texas TDLR License
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently in the field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with magnetic bearing, screw, or absorption chiller systems
• Building automation and controls experience
• Factory training certifications
• Experience servicing mission-critical facilities such as hospitals, data centers, or industrial plants
