Job Summary
Seeking an experienced centralized medical billing & revenue cycle specialist with at least two years of medical billing experience. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while ensuring accurate claims processing, payment posting, denial management, insurance follow-up, and billing audits.
Job Responsibilities
- Process and submit medical claims accurately and in a timely manner.
- Post insurance and patient payments and reconcile account balances.
- Review denied or rejected claims and resolve billing issues.
- Follow up with insurance companies regarding outstanding claims and payments.
- Conduct billing audits to identify errors and ensure accuracy.
- Verify patient and insurance information.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
- Communicate with insurance representatives and internal staff to resolve account discrepancies.
- Follow billing guidelines, insurance requirements, and confidentiality policies.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience.
- Knowledge of medical claims processing, payment posting, and denial management.
- Experience with insurance follow-up and billing audits.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
