Central Sterile Technician

Overview: Process and distribute disposable and reusable medical/surgical supplies in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Required to comply with OSHA regulations for the N95 respirator training and fit testing.

Process and distribute disposable and reusable medical/surgical supplies in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: 

• Scholastic achievement equal to high school diploma preferred.

Minimum Work Experience: 

• Six months to one year central services or related OR experience preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications: 

• CRCST preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: 

• Required to comply with OSHA regulations for the N95 respirator training and fit testing
