What Youll Do- Manage sterile processing department operations and supervise staff
- Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Maintain inventory levels to support patient care without disruption
- Perform quality checks and report inventory transactions accurately
- Lead training and development efforts for staff members
- Follow all safety and compliance standards, including handling biohazards and hazardous materials
- Adapt communication and care approaches to meet the needs of diverse patient populations
What You Need- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Certification as CRCST, CSPDT, or CST; 2+ years of sterile processing or surgical tech experience
- Skills: Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work independently; leadership and motivational abilities
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform heavy manual handling, including lifting up to 50-100 pounds occasionally and frequent standing or walking in a healthcare environment
