What Youll Do
- Lead daily sterile processing operations and supervise department staff.
- Coordinate services supporting the preoperative process.
- Manage the distribution of supplies, instruments, and equipment to operating room and user areas.
- Monitor inventory transactions and maintain appropriate supply levels.
- Help ensure equipment and supplies are available to support patient care.
- Train, develop, and motivate sterile processing team members.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
What You Need
Required:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience working with and leading teams.
- Strong communication, organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use computers, software, and web-based applications.
- Ability to evaluate supply utilization and determine effective inventory levels.
- Ability to work a flexible healthcare schedule as required.
Preferred:- 2 years of sterile processing experience.
- Experience as a scrub tech or surgical tech in a hospital.
- Graduation from an accepted surgical technology program or a bachelors degree in surgical technology.
- CRCST, CSPDT, or CST certification.
