Overview and Responsibilities
As a member of the Facilities - Central Receiving Team, this part time position is responsible for supporting Central Receiving services at the College. This entails all shipping and receiving functions, mail services for all departments and employees, and support of surplus equipment liquidation auctions.
Responsibilities:
Central Receiving Services:
Perform receiving and delivery functions in support of the college's central receiving. Sign for merchandise received, record transfer and delivery transactions and maintain accurate records and reports within the Banner system.
Check materials received for correct quantity, description, specification and condition.
Mailroom Services:
Sort and distribute interoffice mail for all campus locations.
Prepare outgoing US Mail; prepare outgoing interoffice mail for pickup and distribution to other campuses by the mail courier.
Surplus Equipment Liquidation Services:
Receive and pickup unneeded equipment from campus locations.
Coordinate pickup appointments as needed and release items to buyers.
