The CENTRAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Legal Processing: Process levies, subpoenas, summonses, garnishments, and other legal orders affecting deposit accounts. Research and resolve processing exceptions.
- Wire Operations: Release outgoing wires under dual-control guidelines and troubleshoot complex processing issues.
- Reconciliations & Accounting: Complete daily/monthly reconciliations, research outstanding items, and balance Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) deposit difference reports.
- Operational Processing: Handle account adjustments, cash shipments/orders, collections, and IOLTA reporting.
- Account Maintenance: Perform callback functions, including debit card and dormant account updates.
- Support & Back-Up: Guide Central Operations Specialist I and II staff, providing operational back-up coverage for complex EIM, wire, and legal processing issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Five or more years of financial institution operations experience required.
- Advanced experience in reconciliations, ACH, legal processing, wire operations, or accounting functions preferred.
- Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards (BSA/AML, USA PATRIOT Act, CIP, Privacy, CRA).
- Advanced operational knowledge of deposit products, payment processing, reconciliations, and legal order processing.
- Experience using Client Navigator/Premier, WireXchange.
- Legal and Wires processing experience from another financial institution.
