    This position will be focused on research at the Center for Latin American Arts, specifically assisting the Director of this ORU to plan, explore, organize, and execute projects that support faculty and student research for scholarship, performance, museum studies, and exhibition in the fine arts. This includes helping facilitate collaborations among faculty, students, and the community to promote the arts and provide support with researching content for new projects that are funded by winning CLAA grants. With work based at the CLAA, this Graduate Research Assistant will help this ORU in the College of Fine Arts maintain its CLAA mission statementto facilitate the exchange of ideas among students, faculty, artists, and scholars to bring creative academic projects to our university and share them with the Rio Grande Valley community, audiences in Texas, and participants beyond in international venues especially Latin America.
