As a Center Director, You Will:
- Lead with Purpose: Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive culture for children, families, and employees while leading by example.
- Maintain Safety & Compliance: Ensure the center meets all health, safety, and state licensing requirements and maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Build a Strong Team: Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain qualified teachers and support staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.
- Support Educational Excellence: Guide teachers in implementing TLE's curriculum and creating engaging learning experiences that help children learn, play, and grow.
- Manage Center Operations: Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, enrollment, and other administrative responsibilities.
- Drive Enrollment & Family Engagement: Conduct tours, build relationships with prospective families, support family retention, and create opportunities to increase enrollment.
- Build Community Connections: Plan and participate in community events and marketing initiatives that increase awareness of the center and strengthen relationships with local families.
- Coach & Develop Staff: Provide ongoing feedback, recognition, and coaching to help teachers grow professionally and provide high-quality care.
- Create a Culture of Happiness: Foster an environment where children feel safe and supported, families feel valued, and employees feel appreciated and empowered.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has at least one year of center leadership or management experience; two or more years is highly preferred.
- Holds the required state-specific Director or Administrative credential.
- Has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, highly preferred.
- Has strong knowledge of state licensing regulations and early childhood best practices.
- Has excellent communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Is passionate about developing teachers and creating a positive experience for children and families.
- Is comfortable balancing people leadership, classroom support, family relationships, and business operations.
Experience in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is highly valued.
