AFC Urgent Care Lyndhurst is an established, owner-operated urgent care center open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our Center Manager of 10+ years is moving on, and we're looking for an experienced leader to take the reins. You'll have a paid, structured handoff with our current manager, so you won't be starting from scratch.

You'll run day-to-day operations, lead our non-provider team, and partner with our Medical Director and ownership to deliver fast, high-quality care and keep the center growing. As a multi-site operator, we see this as a role with room to grow into broader operations leadership for the right person.

What you'll do

  • Lead, schedule, and develop the non-provider team: front desk, medical assistants, and radiology techs
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and run performance reviews
  • Partner with the Medical Director to make sure care follows clinical protocols and quality standards
  • Own patient flow and the patient experience: wait times, online reviews, and resolving patient concerns
  • Make sure every visit is charted and charged accurately, and work with our billing partner on unbilled visits and denials
  • Oversee front-desk payment collection, end-of-day closeout, and cash handling
  • Maintain the facility and manage inventory of medical, lab, and janitorial supplies
  • Keep the center compliant with company policy and state and federal regulations
  • Run daily huddles, staff meetings, and in-service training
  • Track key metrics (visit volume, patients per day, collections, reviews) and drive improvement with ownership

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years supervising staff in urgent care, primary care, or a medical practice (urgent care strongly preferred)
  • Working knowledge of insurance, billing, and charge capture
  • Experience with Experity or another EMR/practice management system; familiarity with online check-in tools like Solv a plus
  • Strong communicator who stays calm and patient-focused on busy days
  • Availability for some weekend and holiday coverage
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; CMM or CMPE a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

What we offer

  • $30-$40/hour, based on experience, plus performance bonus
  • Health and dental insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Retirement plan 401k match
  • Employee referral bonuses
  • Growth opportunity with a multi-site operator
  • A small-business team where you work directly with ownership, with no corporate layers
