    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced C Embedded Firmware Senior Developer with strong expertise in embedded C/C++ development, embedded Linux, hardware interfacing, and firmware architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and debugging firmware for embedded systems while collaborating closely with hardware and application teams to deliver high-quality medical device solutions.

    Must-Have Skills

    • Hardware Interfacing (UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485, SMBus)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and develop embedded firmware using C/C++ for microcontroller-based systems (bare-metal/RTOS).
    • Implement hardware control for sensors, motors, valves, ADC/DAC, PWM, and other embedded peripherals.
    • Develop and maintain embedded Linux (Yocto) system integration, boot flow, and device communication.
    • Integrate firmware with hardware and higher-level applications (.NET).
    • Debug and troubleshoot complex firmware, Linux, and hardware integration issues.
    • Develop firmware architecture, bootloaders, and firmware upgrade mechanisms.
    • Work with communication protocols including UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485, and SMBus.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Support system integration, validation, and end-to-end testing.
    • Ensure firmware quality, reliability, and compliance with medical device development standards where applicable.

    Required Qualifications

    • 8+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
    • Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ programming.
    • Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux (Yocto).
    • Experience with hardware interfacing and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485, SMBus).
    • Strong understanding of real-time embedded systems and RTOS concepts.
    • Experience with firmware architecture, bootloaders, and firmware upgrade mechanisms.
    • Knowledge of control systems (PID, feedback loops) and real-time design.
    • Experience debugging embedded firmware, Linux applications, and hardware interactions.
    • Ability to integrate firmware with main applications, preferably .NET-based systems.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with embedded Linux security and Docker.
    • Exposure to IEC 62304 or other medical device software standards.
    • Experience in medical device development.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
